Before and after care tips

  • To maintain Hair integrity, be sure to use the recommended products by your stylist.
  • It is recommended that you see your stylist every 6 to 8 weeks
  • Maintain Color –use color protected shampoos and conditioners.
  • A few sessions may be needed when going from dark to light.
  • Let your stylist know if you have used Henna or box dyed hair within the last year.

The waxed skin might be tender for a couple of days. We advise taking Ibuprofen to decrease inflammation and skin sensitivity.

INGROWNS – To avoid ingrown we recommend Exfoliating in the shower every day to help to keep the skin free from cellular buildup which can trap hair.

TANNING -You should wait 3-5 days to get waxed after you have tanned. You should never get waxed if you are sunburned or even if skin is pink. The very top layer of skin could pull o  or “lift” which is painful and can result in scabbing. You should also wait for 3 days after you have waxed to tan as waxed skin is sensitive and more susceptible to burning

~~ We never double dip our wax sticks. ~~

Blow Outs

Make your blow out last by loosely tying hair back before bed and using a satin pillowcase to avoid hair from getting tangled.

Use blow dryer and dry shampoo to add some bounce back into your hair!

Your nails are jewels not tools!

Wear gloves when cleaning, this will protect your nails from early product breakdown.

Using cuticle oil in between services is always recommended! Cuticle oil is a series that are able to soak into the cuticle and nail plate, keeping your gel from shrinking. Hand lotion does not have the same effect as cuticle oil.

Maintaining your enhancements by booking every 2 weeks is recommended to ensure quality and health of your natural nails.

Lastly, relax and allow your nail tech to take control of your hands to give you fabulous nails!
